The 2023-24 MED Annual Report provides an overview of the year’s achievements and progress. The year’s highlights include the Desert Willow Energy Storage facility and progress on the Lawson District. Additional construction updates include a solar farm by Gerdau, the completion of Home Zone Furniture, and the Main Street Towne Crossing retail center.
The report highlights MED’s focus on six main priorities: attracting companies with primary jobs, developing a career center, revitalizing downtown, expanding the airport, increasing office spaces, and supporting local restaurants and entertainment.
The 2023-24 fiscal year was a year of success and progress for our organization. We look forward to the opportunities that will be created because of the dedicated work of the MED.
