Lawson District
The Lawson District is now officially open, marking a major milestone in local development. Three businesses, Roma’s Italian Bistro, The Dessert Bar, and O’Brien’s Bookshop are currently operating, with several additional tenants preparing to open soon. This new mixed-use area is designed to serve as a hub for dining, retail, and community activity in Midlothian.
Main Street towne crossing
Construction is progressing at Main Street Towne Crossing, with all exterior walls now up for the new Lowe’s Home Improvement store. While Lowe’s is the only building currently under vertical construction, crews have also begun moving dirt for the new Chick-fil-A.
Founders Row
A new house is under construction at Founders Row that will serve as the physical location for Soco Coffee. This new building will provide a permanent space for Soco Coffee, enhancing the neighborhood’s local offerings.
Texas Eye and Cataract
Texas Eye and Cataract has begun construction on their new Midlothian location off Highway 287. Specializing in advanced eye surgery, this facility will offer state-of-the-art care and treatment options to patients in the area, enhancing access to specialized ophthalmology services in the community.
Tom Thumb
Land clearing is underway for the new Tom Thumb at the corner of 1387 and Walnut Grove, with the project having officially broken ground. While no walls have gone up yet, site preparation is actively progressing as construction moves forward.
