Midlothian, TX – Midlothian residents are invited to attend “How Economic Development Benefits You,” an informative and interactive forum hosted by Midlothian Economic Development (MED) on Thursday, August 7, 2025, 6:00 PM at the Midlothian City Hall Community Room.

This free community event is designed to help residents understand how local economic development works and, how it directly benefits our community. Learn how sales tax dollars are used to attract businesses, support commercial infrastructure, create quality jobs, and strengthen Midlothian’s future.

“Economic Development is a hot topic on social media”, said Kyle Kinateder, CEO of MED. “This event is an opportunity for Midlothian residents to ask any questions they have about specific projects and how public funds are being used to strengthen our community.”
