Texas State Technical College is coming to Midlothian
We’re excited to announce that Texas State Technical College has unveiled a conceptual plan for its future campus in Midlothian Texas. The campus will be located at the intersection of U.S. 67 and 287. This project will be a significant investment for our community expanding access to technical education, supporting local career pathways, and developing a skilled workforce to meet the evolving needs of our region. The new campus will support its current facility in nearby Red Oak, Texas. Midlothian Economic Development is proud to support this initiative and the long-term benefits it will bring to our residents and local economy.
New Update:Â The Texas Legislature has officially passed SJR 59, putting a constitutional amendment on the ballot this November. If approved by Texas voters, this measure will create a dedicated endowment for Texas State Technical College, paving the way to fund new campuses, including the planned TSTC campus here in Midlothian. Congratulations to Senator Brian Birdwell for sponsoring this important legislation and championing workforce education in our region.
